Those of you in and around NYC on October the 8th should join the Folds Up folding bike festival and ride. Though I haven't been to this, they make it sound like a sort of folding Critical Mass.

On that note, it is organized by TIME'S UP!, the same organization that NYC is trying to sue for promoting NYC Critical Mass. They've fought some earlier legal victories and won, so I don't know why the city doesn't back down already.

We hope they won't be bugging any folders next Saturday, but in the event of a situation, seek refuge at St. John's, the only church I know of that supposedly allows bicycles in the church!
