welcome!

I thought that it might be a benefit to have this little blog to talk about goings on at Bike Friday through my eyes. I know having been here for nearly four years and having cycled through various positions throughout the company, I have a unique perspective that I can share. I hope to share stories, pictures, new models, new components, logistical details, really whatever I can.

I also think that my customers would be interested in these miscellania. I'm making this uniquely for you, my customers, so that we can stay in touch. I really have enjoyed the time I have spent with each and every one of you. In the process of selling someone a bike, it's very easy to get wrapped up in the purchaser's dreams. I get really excited about people's bikes and I find myself wondering what people are doing with them. Somehow, I always envision me being the one on his way to some remote place. So I live vicariously through you and have a strong interest in wanting to stay in touch!

I just hope that this information is useful to you. If there is something you would like to see added or if you have any other questions or comments, please get in touch! If you prefer to call, you should find the number and my schedule at my page on the BF site. And if you'd like to instant messenge me, you can look for bikefridaywalter on ICQ or AIM.

Les and I travel with and ride our BF "Q" Tandem frequently.
Walter's writings are a reminder of
why we put more miles on our bikes than our cars each year.
I never tire of telling folks about the bike we take anywhere, that becomes our transportation when we get there (if we're flying or shipping)!
